Paul & Co at drupa 2016

This is the motto of Paul & Co at the leading international trade fair for the print media industry “drupa 2016”. Assembled under the “Converting-Competence-Center” several companies have come together to establish a network of products, services and know-how.
These specialists will be at your disposal to discuss topics on “clamping, winding, transportation” and give an example of the application-oriented combination of individual components in the production process.

Paul & Co being the specialist for paper cores offers a wide range of cores for the print sector – from cores for newsprint, for films and foils and compound materials to labels. The diversity of winding materials is almost infinite for which reason the variety of suitable paper cores is accordingly high.

Visitors will be welcomed in the shared activity area by the participating companies of the Converting-Competence-Center:

Paul & Co has been established in 1893 and produces a wide range of paper cores: From standard versions for different reeled goods to high-performance cores for paper and surface refined cores for highly sensitive films and foils. Furthermore, packaging with system belongs to our product range: E.g. angular edge protectors and edge protectors for reels, flat profiles or U-profiles. The Kunert Group is member of a worldwide partnership-network. Annually, the employees produce 210,000 tonnes of paper cores and edge protectors, as well as 250,000 tonnes of core board. In addition to vocational training in the commercial, technical or industrial sector, Paul & Co offers internships for pupils and students and cooperates with universities for degree theses in the fields of paper and board, paper cores and logistics.
